Whoo hoo~~~ La Risonanza III was a blast!!
I really enjoyed myself and seriously stressed many ppl out!! The day started out quite badly for me. The tix money didnt tally and I didnt settle it till lunch time. After that there was another mess. I havent cleared it up yet. Wells...I stressed many people like those who saw me and asked me whether i needed help etc...Esp JHui (coz he wanted me to relax for tonight's concert) and JTit (he helps me in collecting tix money).
Thanks to everyone for tolerating me and my sudden change in moods and i flare up at you guys!! It has really been fun and great working with you guys!! And I really wanna thank all for making it 100% or even more than 100% sales!! Argh!! You guys are the best manz!! ok ok...i digressed. Wells...after lunch we quickly packed up and chiong-ed for the bus. Did role play with hui, dh, yc and char again - on the bus! We freaked the bus driver, mrs ng, the choir gals out with all our shouting at each other and tension building scenes. Haha!! It was really fun! but we were all v dead tired that hardly had much emotions. poor jhui, stucked with dead people!! Got to vch and I settled the tix stuff etc. then had 2 run thrus of the musical incl changing etc. the room where char and i changed (aka. piano room) was just beside the stage entrance!! So convenient lah!! Thanks to carine, eugenia, joy, cassandra for helping us get dressed for the concert! during the runs and the actual thing itself!! Whew!! I am really thankful for them! If not, I dont think I would be able to change into those costumes myself!! We did 1 half songs after that. not too bad. I love the sound. not sure how we exactly sounded during the concert itself. but i love singing with them! So energetic!! and you guys learn fast!! Wow!! =) We changed into our gowns and suits and had dinner. kok yong called during dinner! poor boy, can't come out to sing with us. It would have been ultimately great!! We had another short run thru with mr kwei and mr yong and then for the final touchups. And checking of costumes and props for the 2nd half. Argh!! It was busy...busy...busy...

La Risonanza III
The concert was great!! Seriously...every one put in their best and sang their hearts out! I could sense it and I felt that some songs were really good. But some hiccups here and there for a few...like yr2 chorus. Oh wells... Alumni was great i heard!! argh!! They are a great bunch of people to be with!! Intermission was rushed...But ok lah...not too bad. changed, put on accessories...put more and heavier makeup...rushed to Auntie Vivian's room to do my hair! She is a professional hairstylist that joy (dunno how related to her) asked to come. Yupz...and she is sponsored!! Darn coool lah1! (pics will be up later) She put 35 black clips and loads of hair spray!! argh!! had tough time taking the pins off and washing my hair. Checked everything was in place etc... "MJChoir proudly presents, an Andrew Lloyd Webber production, Sunset Boulevard." Sunset Boulevard was extremely enjoyable. I enjoyed myself and really tried to put in all emotions that jhui had taught. The dance..the walking..the movements..The lines...the emotions...all just went so perfect!! And the gun didn't drop! i was so worried that i would fumble on my lines like during the rehearsal...i said "happy birthday, darling..." instead of "happy new year". And I was able to walk easily in the gowns!
The audience had weird reactions like laughing at things that was suppose to be sad and touching. It's alright. As long as they understood the story and they enjoyed themselves, it's alright!
Now that the concert is over, no more fancy dresses for me till a long time later...no money and i think there wont be an occasion. I want to put up the concert again coz it's seriously fun! I learnt lots thru jhui's role playing sessions and getting to do things which i don't think i would get a chance to. be with people whom i think i wont be as close to ever. The musical just opened up many chances for me to get close to people and for me to explore the other side of me. I was a totally different person up on stage. And i could feel it myself. I spoke from my heart and meant every word i said...
wellss..good job to everyone!! Esp the choir for singing so well, for dancing so well, for enduring all the late nights and scolding together...And for selling your tix coz we had more than 100% sales!! And to the choreography team! And the production team! To the writers! to the directors!! you people rawk!

Thanks Da Hong for being such a great butler and encouraging me all these while.
Thanks Ying Chuan for enduring my nonsenses and sudden outburst of emotions. And for letting me slap you!! ahaha!! =)
Thanks Char for being there for me all these while and sharing my stress! Love you lots gal!!
We sang to our hearts content and as loud as we could! And really gave it all we could!
I also wanna thank all my seniors for coming down to support us! Appreciate all that!
To ky, who couldn't book out of camp and join us, thanks for supporting me all these while and listening to my complaints etc. It hasnt been easy for you too...
To the choir comm '05/'06, you guys did wonderful in preparing for the concert! minor hiccups along the way...but yeah..we rawk!!

To my classmates, zhi heng, esther, shuzhen, sharon, lc, dianne, shaz who went down!! And to those who wanted to but didnt coz of various reasons, you guys really are supportive!!
And to Epoh (grandaunt) who has been tolerating me and my lateness in returning home and for having to wake up early becoz of me all these while...
And my parents for being so open and supportive of me!! and to mummy for sewing the black dress that i wore! you rawk!! =)

The choir people and myself adjourned to Lau Pa Sat for dinner/supper. Thanks to Harris and Hafiz for carrying my things! hehe!! they let me enjoy the night as a diva! btw..i left VCH with my hair in a weird style and the blue dress that i wore during the concert! haha!! ppl stared but i didnt care!! I have really grown up manz...like what dad said...

Now that the cocnert is over, it would mean i am one more day nearer to stepping down. It would mean one more day nearer to A levels. I dont want the days that I have choir to end. I will feel lost. but what to do, i still have to study for A levels. Will take things as it comes. I look forward to the day that I perform with the juniors again and with MJChoir!!

I forced myself to get out of bed coz i didnt want to be absent from school. I slept only 4 hours!! I think i have slept only 12 hours in total for the past 3 nights. I have missed too many lessons already. I was running late. Packed my bag in 5 mins and went to school realising i forgot to bring my maths tutorials and econs wkbk and tys. slept thru maths lect and econs lect. my pen didnt even move! i was so glad the lecturers didnt call me!! I stoned in tutorials and wasnt my usual self at other times. I was just 'stone'.
many people were talking about the concert the whole day. everywhere i turned, i just heard a comment about the concert. more of the musical though. people thought i really kissed ying chuan, and coz char and i got to dance with him and gave jealous faces. people were angry that i slapped him...people felt that my role was scary...singing and dialogue was a bit soft for those who sat upstairs. oh wellss...many comments lah...
met joy at 3pm outside school and took a cab down to bugis to return the costumes. i forgot to take receipt for taxi fare ah!!! And then we had to walk with only one umbrella to shelter the 2 of us to another costume shop and then back to the 1st costume shop coz i forgot to ask the guy to sign on the receipt coz he did an amendment the last time. and then it rained even heavier. went to buy some bread for the choir comm...and then took a taxi back to school. was late for the interviews of the next comm.
then went to music extraordinaire (smth like campus superstar kind of competition). went to support ber and xiaoxuan. pearlicia had to back out as she sprained her ankle the day before. haiz...poor gal. the solo singing still not too bad. But the group one...the band not bad. made the atmosphere quite high. The rest were like what the guys said..."stab in the heart". Oh!! And the campus superstar winner Huang Zhi Yang came to perform. He isnt v good at talking manz...or should i say the emcess didnt ask relevant questions. rather rude...wellsss...
went to TM Burger king with zhang quan, serene, zhu en, ber, jhui, yc, dh, rh. chat a lot on what happened during the concert and the guys had a debate over whether physics was better than bio. Geography rawks!! ok..no link..
To those who successfully passed the interviews, i hope you all will do your best during the rally.

Have spent lots of time tgt with the choir people and it's hard to leave them. I still have lots of choir stuff to do even though its after the concert. Have to start balancing the accounts and the expenditure of the concert!! =(
And i am losing my voice after eating lots of chocs...and screaming at music ex!!
