I learnt a great lesson today. If you want to see a doctor, never go on a Monday! And try not to fall sick during the weekends. It's horrible!!
The fever finally acted up last night and I shivered under the thick blanket. I decided that I should just take the day off, although the opportunity costs were great. But I really couldn't get out of bed.
Really sorry Dianne. Couldn't be there for u this morning as promised!!
I slept till 9 am. Took temperature - 38.0 degrees. Finally left house 15 mins later to see the doctor. I was there at 930am and my queue no. was 25. But the doctor was only seeing patient no. 8!! I sat at the same seat for 2 hours under the freaking aircon that was blowing directly at me. I couldn't change place coz everywhere was still under the aircon. And there were plenty of other people there! And so, I just sat there freezing and shivering. FOR 2 Freaking Hours!! I almost went crazy sitting there and waiting.
Good thing I had my Mp3 with me!! Listened to 3 folders!! And singing along. I just felt like singing out lah! I didn't care what the others thought. I just had to do something to get through 2 hours!! I should have brought my notes...Ok...I am not making any sense here...
And so, I have got 2 days MC. Sian..
